Kurt Albin

Kurt joined Penn Parking in the spring of 1997 and initially worked in Marketing and IT. Kurt moved into field operations in 2003 and worked as an Area Manager / Senior Area Manager before becoming the Director of Business Development for the Company.

With over twenty (20) years of direct parking management experience, Kurt has a vast operational understanding of this evolving industry and has worked with a variety of different types of parking equipment. From manual ticket locations to fully automated PARCS facilities, Kurt has been able to implement tight controls to maximize revenues for the clients he has served.

Kurt has overseen various properties throughout the Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia areas. Kurt has managed facilities within the Class A office/retail setting, special event venues, and orchestrated custom parking solutions for special projects. During his tenure and an Area Manager / Senior Area Manage Kurt has overseen facilities with cashiered and cashier-less operations, self-park and valet specific operations, and special event parking. Kurt has extensive operational experience with hiring and employee disciplinary practices, training of personnel, employee scheduling, implementing tight revenue controls and auditing practices, ensuring proper maintenance of facilities, troubleshooting of standard and PARCS based parking equipment, coordination of vendor visits and work, safe deposit of revenues (daily, monthly, validation, and special event), scheduling of power cleanings, snow removal, etc. Kurt has also been integral in fostering and maintaining relationships (clients, tenants, and customers), providing administrative support to each facility, and direct preparation and provision of monthly reporting. Administratively, Kurt has also been a lead contributor to the formal and informal solicitation process, with a specialty in technical response.

Kurt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
